Our first day, we drove out of the park, having taken a few photos of the tunnel view vista and marveled at the huge crowds, standing in the snow. The second day, we returned to the tunnel view, but the conditions weren't quite as good. [3]

Almost as an afterthought, I decided to drive down into the valley and see what all the fuss was about. We picked a spot to park, on the exit road (so we wouldn't spend all night getting out of the park). [4]

Thousands of photographers travel from around the world, to stand at their tripods for hours, in hopes of catching the perfect picture. Many of them would hate the story of how I got this picture. We visited the park to ski at Badger Pass, not knowing this was THE week for Horsetail Falls. [2]

I was playing around with Chat GPT, and thought I'd see what it knows about lasers (something I happen to know a lot about). At one point, it volunteered to produce a diagram for me. It came up with this curiosity. If I can find a DISTRUBITED FEFAABRSTICK MODUIATED LASER, I might make a lightsaber.

Hank Green's mentioned Bluesky doesn't down-rank links I thought I would try an experiment. I know how this performs on some other platforms. Here is a short paragliding video, set to relaxing music, showing how amazing it is to soar over the dunes near Monterey California. youtu.be/JEbSUFfLDfU
