The white horse that plays Shadowfax in the movie was actually owned by a Tolkien fan who had named her horse Shadowfax and was delighted by the chance to have her horse in the movie. In certain scenes you can see them react to their name being said

We all know the "Viggo broke his toe" story but what's another movie fact you're personally compelled to bring up every time without prompting? For me, it's the fact that Robin Tunney is wearing a wig in The Craft because of having just shaved her head to save her job filming Empire Records.

This is false by the way, but I had a dream where I was scrolling an LotR fan forum and I read this fact and then spent years telling people it until during lockdown I chose to Google it and found out I'd just hallucinated my time on the forum

During the production of Waterloo 1970 the director was in effective control of the 7th largest land army due to how many of his extras were active Red Army soldiers

Hurt my neck in footie yesterday, did not sleep, woke up at 9:15am, panicked , ran through a morning to get to work 1 minute before my 10:00am meeting to be told that due to a massive cloud outage no work could be get done and I wasn't actually able to type a word of code until 2pm

I'd buy a very low tier football club, put myself in charge and get to play irl football manager. ideally like a tier three team on portugal's coast or something

question for the audience: if you were ultra rich (let’s say $25M), what completely frivolous thing are you buying?

every single broken window, bit of graffiti, and the pig's head left outside the salford HMOs is a direct result of years of capitulation to the worst impulses of the far right from the "liberal" centre as well as the labour party, with it's dead behind the eyes mps crowing about boats
