When I think about Brexit harms I think about @gailmyerscough.co.uk and the damage it did to her ability to sell to customers in Europe. She has exactly the sort of small business politicians all love to say they support.

Ironically, the NME reviewer hadn't seen it, either.

A-level General Studies in the late 80s, question required an arts review so I wrote out a review of The Fall and Michael Clarke's collaboration, however I hadn't seen it so reproduced some pretentious bollocks from the NME. Got a B and into my favoured university as a result.

”There’s no such thing as an Amol Rajan fan, unless you restrict your survey sample to the man himself, his immediate family, and a small circle of punch-drunk commissioning editors at the BBC.” As Amol Rajan launches a YouTube channel, @brokenbottleboy.bsky.social weighs up his chances of success

"Radio 4 Extra is not a dusty exercise in nostalgia. It is living proof that great broadcasting does not acquire a sell-by date." The loss of #Radio4Extra is the loss of access to a rich and wonderful archive. Don't tell me it'll be on #BBCSounds - you try looking for anything on there! #RadioDrama

Radio Times Editor Shem Law says BBC Radio 4 Extra is living proof that great broadcasting does not acquire a sell-by date – and we'll be losing more than just a radio station when it's turned off. Read in full: https://www.radiotimes.com/audio/radio/bbc-radio-4-extra-closure-mistake-comment/

This has made little or no sense for years. Also: the 90-second UK weather forecast. Absolutely pointless.

BBC news still telling us what the papers say is anochronistic and idiotic. You're the ones supposed to tell us the news, not give free publicity to some tax-dodging billionaire's warped perspective of it.

One of the weakest of these I’ve read Regards Steve Let this guy sit, rude, lonely and unappreciated on his hill.

Watched “Ellie and Natasha” with daughter (early 20s). Both enjoyed it a lot. However: Her: So… it’s like a bunch of reels on the telly? Me: Yes. We used to call them sketch shows. #comedy

I know everyone has to make a living, but I'm always disappointed when I find a 'content creator' I like, scroll through his or her back catalogue, then find one in three 'sketches' is a thinly disguised advert for Tui.

Comedy nerds. The original “a gramophone?” sketch, which was re-done to great acclaim on NTNOCN by Smith and Jones was just on The Burkiss Way on 4 Extra. Along with the usual bunch of “thick Paddy” jokes, unfortunately.
