The short answer: no - #dotnet does not run on Windows 98! But glad someone asked!

Annoyingly the latest patch release of #dotnet 9 (9.0.102) did not fix the "dotnet watch" bug (github.com/dotnet/sdk/i...). After one or two changes I always receive: "Change failed to apply (error code: '00-00-00-00-00'). Further changes won't be applied to this process."

Removing unused stuff - it just feels right!

For all the public speakers out there (especially #dotnet): Do you create abstracts for your talks and if it gets accepted create the whole talk or do you already have the talk ready before applying CfP/CfS?

It's still one of my favorite ways to test an API - by actually making API Requests to your live backend! If you didn't look into API testing with the WebApplicationFactory in #dotnet - give it a shot. It might be just the right tool for you.

I was surprised that the HybridCache is not part of the initial realase of #dotnet 9 and will be released later with an update. Also the nuget package is currently not tagged as stable.

A while ago I made a #LINQ mind map for #csharp / #dotnet developers starting with LINQ. And yes, it is .net 9 ready.

A new Rider version is out that supports #dotnet 9 and #csharp 13 Also, a cool feature for advanced debugging: You can pause and resume single tasks in the debugging session, making it easier to "reconstruct" race conditions! Nice Job @jetbrains.com
