I know I’m going to hear a lot of whining about Dems cheating in Virginia. My only reaction is, had the administration not started a fight they shouldn’t be surprised when someone punches back. This is a lesson that this admin continues to fail to learn and maps closely to Iran. #VAGerrymander

Let’s see here… Friday bogus announcement driving oil prices down (BUY BUY BUY) After the market closes all sorts of disputes about the Strait which will drive the oil prices up (SELL SELL SELL) Rinse, repeat and millions will have been made while America suffers. #InsideJob

“Oil falls as Vance comments raise hopes for a diplomatic resolution to Mideast conflict” This invokes thoughts of Charlie Brown trying to kick a field goal.

#IranWar I watch these press conferences with Pete Hegseth and I listen to all of these platitudes and ‘big man’ talk and think that it gives off big ‘Call of Duty’ fanfic vibes.

#MortgagteRates - Just saw that the rates have increased for the 4th straight week putting the critical Spring home sales at risk of being tepid. I can’t wait to hear how this is somehow an indication of the prior administrations failures and completely unrelated to the Iranian war we started.

‘We should have a little empathy for what he and his family have gone through (Trump)’ - Scott Bessent on why celebrating Robert Muellers death was understandable. As a Christen I can’t understand how any Christen of any denomination supports this administration.

Watching Pete Hegseth give an update on the war where he claims that all of the parents of killed service members begged him to ‘finish the job’ feels so completely dirty. Launching then into press attacks just further points out what an under-qualified for his role. #Hegseth

Pretty sure we just watched the often cited ‘Good guy with a gun’ cut down by Federal Officers. Where is the ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ crowd during these critical federal government abuses?

Ignorance of the law is not a defense for having violated the law. That applies to civilian and military life. It is the obligation of every resident to know the laws and failure to abide by it carries a penalty. Do the crime, do the time.

My wife called my attention to an Edwin Peacock ad for the Charlotte City Council. She asked ‘could there be a whiter name?’ I responded ‘Edwin Peacock the Third’ A quick Google search later I find out he’s actually EPIII. Sometimes the jokes write themselves.

Emil Bove misled lawmakers in his confirmation hearings for a federal judgeship when he denied targeting prosecutors who refused to go along with his dismissal of corruption charges against New York Mayor Eric Adams.

🚨BREAKING: Trump’s ex-lawyer Emil Bove was just confirmed to a LIFETIME judgeship - while Ryan Crosswell resigned from DOJ for REFUSING to follow his orders to cover up corruption. The Senate just rewarded complicity. We won’t forget until every last coward is out of Congress.

Emil Bove has been confirmed. When I testified about his complicity in Trump’s abuse of power, I spoke about my niece, Ryland. I'm thinking of her tonight. Bove will likely be ruling on reproductive rights, executive power, and elections into her 30s. What a disgrace.

Weaponization of government which was cited in the last administration by the GOP has really flourished under this administration. It’s like watching Tiger Woods show his 4-yo son how to golf.

Republicans Take Step Toward Repealing 30-Year-Old Law: 'It Is Unconscionable' - HuffPost Excuse my ignorance but isn’t it reasonable that the law enforcement target anti-abortion zealots who violate the terms of this law? Who else is it likely to impact?

🧵 It’s the 100th day of Trump 2.0, so here are 100 times Trump and those close to him have attacked press freedom and transparency. That doesn’t mean they’re only averaging one per day – we had to make cuts. There will probably be more attacks while we’re posting this.

A Missouri Representative has filed a bill to track pregnancies in the state. HB 807 will: "Maintain a central registry of each expectant mother who is at risk for seeking an abortion of her unborn child and make the same available to a prospective adoptive parent who has completed screenings."

I see Trump is generally considered effective by the US population. I guess I’m of the school of rampant action is one thing, thoughtful action is another. I’ve seen monkey shit-fights at the zoo with more structure and planning.
