I mean, I have hobbies, but I mostly just post rambling diatribes about politics to get them out of my head. If that's your thing, I'm sorry.

The next president should give blanket pardons to any vigilante who decides to go after anyone Trump pardoned, extending to pardoning any crimes against anyone attempting to protect or defend them.

If Christians are correct that God hates abortions, and that if you are impregnated by a rapist that is God's plan, that seems like even more reason to get an abortion. Like, fuck you God, make better plans!

I was just looking at the Alberta referendum results, and I found something interesting. So, there were ten questions on the ballot. The main question of stay or leave had a bit over 2 million voters. But then there are nine more questions, and if you go through them in numerical order, less...

...people answer each question, with the last question getting under 1.5 million votes. So, half a million Albertans didn't have the attention span to answer all ten questions.

Since renaming things is all the rage these days, I've decided to rename the US government "The Circus of Cruelty" and the president "Head Sewer Clown." Let's see if I have any power. Probably not, but there is that 1/1000000 chance this goes viral and I prove more powerful than Trump.

That's why I find it useful to talk as much as possible about the right to bodily autonomy. It lets you focus on abortion as an ordinary medical procedure that crazy people want to storm in and over-rule doctors on, rather than as a dicey moral question that must be picked over in detail.

If conservatives really believed that the woman in the Cornel gang rape were consenting, they would be calling the men disgusting degenerates. Their defense is a confession.

People keep talking as though the Republican party has manifestly changed since Trump, and maybe it has a little, but I think we should all remember that back in the 1990s, the majority of Republicans already believed that demons were a serious problem that the government should be concerned with.

When you look at all of the worst people on Earth, and where their money is, it becomes clear that even if it somehow became useful, it would still be a moral imperative that AI be made to fail. If an AI service is free, waste it. If it costs anything, eschew it. This must fail.

They say if you give people free money, nobody will work, but that's obviously untrue. What WOULD happen, and what they fear, is that there would be ten times as many teachers and doctors and builders, but few or no servants or accountants or CEO's. It's not that people wouldn't work, it's that...

...they wouldn't obey. They would work on things that feel meaningful, that materially improve their lives and those of their neighbours. That's the real fear. Not that society would collapse, but that they would be left on the sidelines, yelling orders at ghosts.

I think what America needs is one of those bounty laws, but for pedophiles. Anyone in America can sue any pedophile for $1,000,000, on the understanding that having to share a country with a pedophile is worth that degree of compensation. Any win is considered dispositive evidence in all future...

...suits, and the only restriction is that each individual can only sue each pedophile once per child raped.

A lot of businesses are going along with Trump out of fear. The next administration needs to ensure that forevermore, it is scarier to go along with someone like Trump than to oppose him. Their treatment must be so harsh and punitive that they WISH Trump were their enemy. A business makes its...

...decisions based on CBAs. It is legally mandated to do so. It us up to Americans to ensure that in the future, the CBA always comes down on the side of opposing fascism. The attack on them must be constant, unending, unfair, sadistic. It must target not just the business, but the CEOs and the...

...shareholders. There must never be any question in the future which decision serves shareholders. It won't happen of course, and that's why America will still be fucked even after Trump.

I hear a lot about people feeling socially isolated and not knowing how to make friends. It's not my specialty, but I have found a pretty simple set of instructions that will work fairly often if your goal is just to make a new friend.

1) Go to a park 2) Find a person with a dog 3) Compliment their dog. You are now about 2/3rds of the way to making a new friend, just don't fumble the bag.

...event the day after it happened, I still think a majority of people would fail to distinguish real and AI images unless there were glaring mistakes in the latter.

It's kind of fucked up how many rich people, given total power over their own life, the ability to do and be whatever they want, choose to never get enough sleep. Is it any wonder that these people are enormous loathsome assholes?

I think that the people who talk about bloodlines and ancestors all the time gave probably not thought about how bad most of their ancestors smelled. These are not people you would respect if you ran into them on the street.

I think if Mamdani has taught us anything, it is that socialists are the only people who understand capitalism well enough to make it work properly.

It is my position that it is a heroic act to kill someone who is in the process of wilfully causing the extinction of the human race. Is this a controversial position?

Can anyone explain to me why anyone supports Jeffries? What is his appeal? He just came out two months from the election to announce that he had formed committees to talk about policies that they could then talk about maybe doing in the future. Like, I've heard that black people like him, but is...

...that real or is it something that white centrists made up as an excuse not to criticize him? And if it is real, what do they like about him?

Like, if he was elected solely to troll Mitch McConnel, hats off to the bit, but it will be a lot funnier after the reveal and resignation.

I think that when arguing with eugenicists, it is best to take the position that the only real measure of success for a group is the percentage of Earth's biomass that they compose. It's no more arbitrary than their measures of success.
