No wonder our city is such rough shape… Karen Bass: - missed 1/3 of Metro board meetings - missed 1/2 of homeless authority meetings (that she appointed herself to!) - was out of town during Palisades and Lineage fires Enoughbass.com

We’re disappointed that @gavinnewsom.bsky.social has signed SB-194, a bill bought and paid for by Forest Lawn and Mt Sinai lobbyists to stop a road safety project. We will get the extra bureaucratic hurdles done and get the project in the ground anyway under Mayor @nithyaforthecity.bsky.social.

This article on @citywatchla.bsky.social by Thomas Glick was a NIMBY's greatest hits of why LA can never be a multimodal city. It was so absurd, I felt compelled to take it apart paragraph by paragraph: michaelschneider.medium.com/the-war-on-c...

"Raman’s and the mayor’s plans both call for improving public transit and biking infrastructure to get Angelenos out of cars in the first place." The key difference? Karen Bass' actions fight AGAINST bike and transit infrastructure. www.latimes.com/environment/...

TELL @gavinnewsom.bsky.social to VETO SB 194, a targeted attack on the Forest Lawn Safety & Mobility Project. This law would set a horrible precedent where any wealthy Californian can write and pay for their own law, at the last minute, without debate. actionnetwork.org/letters/tell...

"How much does it cost to write your own law in California? About $500,000. That’s what Forest Lawn and Mt Sinai spent on lobbyists since 2025 to kill one road safety project, on one street, in LA. This week, Sacramento gave them their money’s worth." www.latimes.com/opinion/stor...
