BLUESKY GIVEAWAY: - 1 Bigscreen Beyond 2e: @vrchat.com Edition (no 10 years of VRC+, sorry). As long as Bigscreen can ship to you, you're eligible. RULES: - must be following me on Bluesky - must RT this post you must be comfortable with me ordering it for you!

in case you imported your settings from prior Blender versions, change your backend graphics to Vulkan from OpenGL. the reasons are obvious (full scene / solid shading ) and if you AREN'T on Blender 4.5, time to catch up

UdonSharp is actually fun to use and easy to pick up. This is 4 lines and an animator that looks like a fish (because it's easier than setting world coordinates)

anyway i think my next world is coming along nicely. idk what a timeline is looking at but i think im going to try and make myself supportable, especially since i put my heart into it. i take time on every vert ^^

im kinda at a point where i feel like nobody notices me. im tired of living in a hostile environment and im uncomfortable with a life where im always trying to deduce whats real, whats intentional, etc. im an overthinker, but not socially. but things keep making me one and im tired

Someone got so upset at me for trying to explain a reference that they put words in my mouth and insulted parts of my very early WIP world. I’m not upset about insulting my world, I’m proud of it. Just dont want to be lied about. :)

hi i can use procedurally generated stuff (straight from blender to unity) without the massive uv unwrap overhead because of @sim.red 's VRC Light Volumes thank you redsim also very early sneak peak at next world

I think I'm gonna soft release my world soon. It's nothing impressive but it's my first (hopefully not last) one. I have future plans for this world, but as for now it's going to stay small and optimized. I don't want this to turn into a world where every update your baseline fps goes down by 10.

Right now my baseline fps is somewhere in the range of 70-80 (2070 + R7 3700x) in VR. Others have told me that they don't drop below 90 with 4-6 people, but I haven't had many more than that so far. Just a couple of finishing touches and I think it's in a state I'm happy with at the moment. :3
