Thanks to @artefr.bsky.social and team....I enjoyed playing a part in this, back in the dark and freezing days of a Berlin mid-winter! www.arte.tv/fr/videos/12...
What can I do? Since @juliabelluz.bsky.social and I published our books last year, this is the most common question we’ve been asked. This is not dietary advice, it's about what we can do, as citizens, to detoxify the food environments around us. stuartgillespie.substack.com/p/fighting-o...

🚨True cost of UK’s food system is nearly £300 billion a year, and rising 📈 Updated analysis from @timjackson.org.uk shows the economic cost of the UK’s unhealthy food system has risen to £298 billion a year, up from £268 billion just two years ago. Read 👉 ffcc.co.uk/publications...
Check out the video launch of 'The Economics of Eating' film and conversation from last week. The film explores the impacts of the industrial food system and the case for more localised food systems. With Finn Harries, Lyla June Johnston, Helena Norberg-Hodge & me www.youtube.com/watch?v=YW2y...
🔥Maybe it’s a case of ‘you find what you look for’... But it seems to me there’s been an upswing in discourse on what power in food and health is, how it manifests, who wields it, to what end – and how we can address its imbalances. Will action follow? stuartgillespie.substack.com/p/more-power
Why does food grown thousands of miles away often cost less than food produced just around the corner? Join us on September 17 for a special online screening of a short film followed by a live conversation. www.localfutures.org/events/live-...

Really excellent piece by @stuartgillespie.bsky.social on AI use in writing. That is, AI - alien intelligence. AI - anti-intellectual.

Interesting podcast... You state: "It is true that we eat a lot of shit in the US...but it’s not shit because it’s grown industrially." Disagree...main goal is maximising profit which means UPFs which are the least healthy for people and planet. Quality, health, politics strangely absent in pod.
