Novel update: 44k words of a planned ~80k for the second book in this series. Not thrilled with some of the writing, but I plan to fix that (as best I can) in post. And I need to flesh out the characters and world a bunch more. Goal is to finish the first draft by mid September. On track!

Anyone else fly #southwest a lot? Their new boarding system has lots of people in window seats boarding after aisle and center seats. Seems slower than need be. And far slower than the festival seating they used to have. I know… a high class problem. But still.

A photo of #LakeMichigan 's "beach", just North of #SouthHaven, MI. In the summer, the shore would be about halfway between where I'm standing and the snow piles. Proof that walking the dogs on the Lake Michigan's beach is nice year round.
