Did my civic duty today.

What every social media network needs is a function that detects sports posts that are sent mid-game, and suppresses them afterwards. I don't need to see posts about someone's real time reaction to a first period play in my feed the next day. Post game analysis is sufficient for my needs.

Beating the heat with art. Spent parts of the weekend, beating the heat wave, by assembling, painting and photographing an AT-AT model. This is the photography part.

My strategy for dealing with the heat: painting a model in my basement. So far, so good.

Apparently the Eagles have the best sell US album of all time in the US. At 40m copies sold it beats the second best by 6m units. It is a Greatest Hits album, which explains why Gandalf did not have the Eagles bring the Ring of Power to Mordor... They were too busy recording music to go on tour.

The fact this game went to overtime is stunning.

Kidpool! I forgot I pre-ordered this 1:6 scale figure when Deadpool & Wolverine came out, so it was a bit of a surprise when he showed up at my door all these months later. Its Deadpool adjacent, so its hard to complain. Tonight I have him the full treatment in my studio.
