Asked Sean McVay about the Rams' kickoff coverage after two big returns followed by four touchbacks yesterday. "I gotta figure that out. It's one of those deals that it's driving me crazy"

Sean McVay said he hasn't spoken to Rams SVP of Sports Medicine and Performance Reggie Scott yet, so he doesn't know yet whether or not they will open the practice windows for Myles Garrett or Terrance Ferguson this week.

Some additional context to the Rams run game's Week 7 performance that I found interesting from Next Gen Stats, especially about the effectiveness of man-concept carries

Raiders turn the tipped INT into points, as Cousins fires a 15-yard TD pass to Ashton Jeanty. 2-point try fails. Rams 28, Raiders 18 with 13:12 left in 4Q

Rams tight end Colby Parkinson limping off the field and to the injury tent. He's been playing through multiple injuries this year, including a knee

Stafford also becomes the first player in NFL history to lead two different franchises in passing TDs

With that TD pass, Matthew Stafford becomes the Rams' franchise leader with 155.

The Rams now have three-straight touchdown scoring drives after an 11-yard TD pass from Stafford to Puka Nacua puts them up 21-3 with 4:15 left in the 1st half

Raiders K Matt Gay's 51-yard FG attempt misses wide left. Rams and Raiders still scoreless with 10:48 left in 1Q Raiders had gotten into Rams territory on a DPI penalty, but don't come away with points

Brandon McManus handles the kickoff for the Rams (as he said this week he expected to). 36-yard return by the Raiders, though, putting them at their own 38 on the opening drive

Can't remember if/when Lake did this before, but think it makes a lot of sense between his experience in this defense, how he prepares every week and also staying consistent with that on-field communication coming from the middle of the defense with him playing the star position

With Nate Landman out today, looks like Quentin Lake will be wearing the green dot for the Rams’ defense

With Landman out, McVay confirmed Eric Kendricks is expected to be elevated from the practice squad

Sean McVay said Puka Nacua (calf) and Trent McDuffie (groin) will not practice today and will be listed as questionable for Sunday’s game at Raiders. Nate Landman (concussion) will be out.

Rams OC Nate Scheelhaase on Matthew Stafford wanting to ensure team is in a place where, when players return from injury, the circumstances are still meaningful: "I honestly heard him and Davante (Adams) have that exact talk the other day of just wanting to do everything he can...

WR Davante Adams will need a "cleanup" procedure on his hamstring, according to Sean McVay, but it hasn't been scheduled yet. McVay: "I think they're going to give it a of couple days and figure out exactly when is the best time."

CB Trent McDuffie (groin) won’t practice today, per Sean McVay. McVay said they will take things a day at a time and evaluate his status as they go through the week (as McVay on Monday said would be the case)

McVay indicated Turner likely would be headed to IR, but that the team would use one of their return designations on him (teams have up to eight IR return designations they can use during regular season)

Regarding Trent McDuffie (groin), Sean McVay said he's "progressing." "He's feeling much better. The hope is, progress this week and determine his status at the end of this week."
