Is the concept of Nationality and borders on a map as outdated as, say, belief in a sky fairy? I'm of the opinion that if we don't come together as Earth Citizens we are doomed by our intransigence and apathy towards the undeniable climate disaster that is on it's way as sure as night follows day.

As suspected 2/3 of Clacton Voters are either complete and utter morons or part of "the establishment" - I suspect the former as you only had to listen to some of them in the run-up. Complete and utter brain dead, hard of thinking morons and they'll have another opportunity to vote again shortly.
