vamp!luffy is canon luffy but at 19 gets turned and it ruins is whole damn life. so he's different cause he's at his worst, plus he has mingo inside his head.

modern!luffy is different at 19 cause things are finally looking up and at 21 so much as improved his brain is getting just about ready to impact it all and crash out now that it's safe to do so.

crocodad!luffy is different at 19 cause he realized his dad is just awful but is still far too sheltered & codependent to do much about it so he ends up super cranky, plus chronic pain is taking a toll on him.
