It was the whole network community, not just Wi-Fi. I was working on stuff that no one else on my team or company understood, so there was no one to discuss it with. Suddenly, here was a HUGE group of people who got it. Liked it, even. It is still amazing how much that impacted my career!

Wi-Fi Question: What attracted you to the Wi-Fi community on Twitter? What value did it bring to you, personally?

🤓 Network engineers -- Do you know what 802.1X and/or AAA is? 👉 Help me settle a debate with this completely unscientific poll. REPLY WITH: 0️⃣No, no clue what that is 1️⃣Yes, I've heard of it 2️⃣Yes, and I've configured it

A great way to wrap up all we saw this week.

I just recorded a special Packet Protector episode with guest co-hosts @subnetwork.bsky.social and @allybrown.bsky.social here at #MFD13. Analysis of what we saw from 7 vendors this week and talk all things mobility and network security, zero trust, secure by default, and (of course) AI.

Thanks Amy for putting an awesome list together! If you’re new to BlueSky and wondering who to follow in the IT and Networking space, check this out!

We are often are asked “Why wasn’t [ ] nominated for an award?” My answer is always the same: “Because you didn’t nominate them!” The Wi-Fi awards are nominated (and voted on) by the community, not the board.

Great article! Thanks for spending the time to test it so thoroughly @artofrf.bsky.social!

When I'm having a tough day, I like to go into my junk folder and read all of the spam that I've missed. It reminds me that I may get frustrated with my work, but nothing is as bad as trying to sell marketing B2B info... No, Kate, I won't be getting back to you about those leaked Octa customers.

This is called the Cygnus Wall - a prominent feature of the North American Nebula. Approximate distance from Earth is 2600 light years. This picture represents about 8 1/3 hours of exposure time, taken in 10-minute exposures, stacked together to extract the detail you see here.

T+3 days since I inadvertently performed a sock slalom down the stairs, and I’m finding bruises everywhere! How did I bruise behind the knee? 😂🛝

In just a few minutes, we'll kick off this great webinar with Jennifer Minella, Kate Adam, and Viacheslav Dementyev hosted by The Register. I'm going to do my best to answer as many questions during the webinar as I can, so feel free to ask any on-topic questions in the Q/A box.
