New work 'The Way Home' on show during @oxfordshireartweeks which starts on Saturday! I will be sharing new work alongside @sculptedinstone and @tamzinmayjewelry We will be exhibiting over two May weekends 9/10 + 16/17. OX18 2NA

Huntacott Water A light filled spot where Bess the Lurcher + I often stand to breathe. This monotype will be on show during @oxfordshireartweeks when I'm exhibiting alongside @sculptedinstone + @tamzinmayjewellery May 9/10 + 16/17 11 - 4 Bampton OX18 2NA

Another new work is appearing. It's been a wonderful distraction on these endlessly cold wet days. The rain continues to fall in the south west although it now results in a festival atmosphere when the sun does appear + the song thrushes in the garden certainly lift the heart.

Very happy to have two works selected for the 2026 Society of Graphic Fine Art Open at The Mall Galleries, London. The standard of drawing skill in this show is second to none. I feel incredibly humble to be part of it. It's on at the mall galleries from March 9th to 14th and is well worth a visit

The excellent exhibition Exploring Senses continues at @wattsgallery until September 7th. If you can, do visit. The Arts and Crafts Artist Village is an inspiring place to wander. @drawingsocietyuk @wattsgallery

I've been printing some new etchings the last few weeks. In between having gorgeous visitors and working on a commission (unfortunately not one I can share) Anyway... apologies for the ropey camerawork! There's also a little wave at the end 😉 This is one of two new murmurations

Then 2012 and Now 2025 What a lovely commission to do. It was so good to be able to meet and draw this young woman 13 years on. To see how she's changed and yet how the spark of her younger self still shines through.

Really chuffed to find Hedgerow Hare is featured in @ox_magazine. How lovely is that? All in celebration and anticipation of the brilliant oxfordshireartweeks this May. I will be exhibiting in Bampton with the talented @sculptedinstone 17, 18, 23- 26 OX18 2NA

I've had a few weeks of (happy) distraction with trips to moor and city and sea so I can't complain! Still progress on arty activities has been slow as a result. I'm pleased with how this commission is going, though. I'm hoping you can see a love of life, a wry wit, and a generous spirit.

Just so delighted to have two works selected for the 2025 Society of Graphic Fine Art Open at The Mall Galleries, London. The standard of drawing skill that is shared in this show is second to none. 10 - 15 March. It's worth a visit!

A gentle start to the year with lots of thinking and planning. Now work is starting to emerge. It's so good to be back at the drawing board!! Once the tree feels settled, I think a small murmuration might land

I've had quite a few dog portraits this year - a bit of a surprise. It keeps my eye alert & this gal, with her wild hair & huge eyes, is keeping my hand busy these grey half lit winter days. My mind, however, is already walking the path towards new drawings & etchings. They're all there waving...

You are up to date.
