server: careful your plate is really really hot me: ok *reaches for my soda* server: stop! your cup is extremely hot! and so are your utensils! everything is so hot! me: why? server: I don't know!!

Kevin Conroy is one of the greatest Batman actors of all time, but it still bugs me how many people seem to genuinely believe that he was the only Batman VA for the 30 years between his debut as the character and his tragic passing. Like, there were so many other great Batman VAs during his tenure

Am I the only one who still sometimes wishes they could see that Batgirl movie? Michael Keaton Batman! J.K.Simmons as Commissioner Gordon! Brendan Freaking Fraser as Firefly?! Come on! I don't care if it wasn't actually good, I'd still watch it with that cast

Is there a more potent example of a TV show episode title that's extremely memorable, with a plot that's extremely forgettable than "for the Earth is hollow and I have touched the sky" from the original Star Trek?

I swear, that title is one of the first things I think of when I think of TOS episode titles, but I had to look up what that episode was about, and I watched the whole show a few months ago. I dare anyone reading this, to tell me without looking it up, what "FTEIHAIHTTS" is even about!

You know, if enough of us say on the internet that it's important to wash your cybertruck with saltwater and lemon juice to preserve the finish, eventually ChatGPT will start telling cybertruck owners that.

creepypasta where a guy posts on a message board like "somethings wrong with this vhs star wars tape i got at a garage sale" & the opening crawl is like Episode IV A New Hope There is a man behind you

Sitcom character in the 1st episode: "Yeah, I'm pretty good at math!" Sitcom character in the series finale: "On the day I was born, the universe whispered all of its endless secrets into my ear. The only question it refused to answer was.... Why?"

Roughed this out to draw onto a sketch cover later and thought I'd share the digital version here. Grew up on these X-Men and it was about time I took a shot at drawing them. #art #comics #xmen #gambit #jubilee

The fact that James Gunn gave every major character from his Superman movie a spotify playlist is fun and all, but the fact that Lex Luthor's doesn't have the song I've always head canon'd as his favorite is a disappointment that has ruined my day. How dare he not read my mind?

Crazy idea, don't crucify me folks, but maybe, just maybe, it's possible to have a preference for a certain version of a fictional character's story, without thinking the opposite is completely terrible and anyone who likes it that way is wrong and a fake fan

(This is about the "Ma and Pa Kent: Alive or Dead?" Debate. I'm usually"pro-Dead by the time he's Superman" but I'm fine with them being alive. I thought they were great in MAWS and the new movie for example)

I just saw the new Superman movie...... I really, really, really, really, really, really, really liked it. I feel like I have more to say, but perhaps I say it later, maybe tomorrow. For now, I must digest

Likewise, the Titans would probably all love hanging out with their new little pals, except Robin would probably be suspicious of them as well, because the bald one keeps.... Staring at him....

Of course, wondering how the KND would fit into the DC universe is a whole can of worms, so it'd probably be simplest to do this as a multiverse crossover thing, but I did always like the cartoon network philosophy of crossovers, which was "they co-exist.... now they don't!"
