Nada! Strong cme strong impact but no aurora. Why? Bz was pointed north! Very very strong wave but bz is aligned north….. no dice.

Arrived and its strong! Now we wait till nightfall

Id say we have contact

S3 Solar proton storm ongoing now from x flare yesterday! Below they list hazards of these events. That thing flared for hours it was long duration. #aurora #protons

Boom! I see they upgraded geomag storm forecast to G4! Nice as it’s supposed to clear up tonight (clouds). Now just depends what time this cme arrives. If it arrives near nightfall its game on. #heliophysics #aurora

Oh man! Yay. X-class solar flare. that spot is pointed right at us! This should get interesting! R3 radio black too. Decent strong flare! Now just have to figure out what material (CME) it launched at us. #heliophysics #aurora

Theres decent cape enough to get it done! This cell is leaning out more and shows healthier convergence along its rear gust front! Watch it! Even if winds are veering some now not completely ideal but the speed and quick direction change it’s possible. #tornadoes

Strong deep-layer shear/long hodographs favor supercells. Still, relatively weak buoyancy, linear forcing for ascent and fairly fast frontal movement favor a more linear storm mode. #indiana #illinois #storms

If #China 🇨🇳 and the #USA 🇺🇸 worked together there isnt anything we couldnt do! Russia does not want the US and china to get along, work together. Putin causes a lot of problems in the world.

Im a fan of James Cameron because he’s not afraid to do the difficult work. The kind of work most people skip because it is either to hard/difficult to do or takes to much time and energy. That gives people a tactical advantage if they are willing to tackle the hard jobs! #work #filming #problems

Cacti are CAM plants (Crassulacean Acid Metabolism). They essentially "hold their breath" during the day and open their pores at night to breathe (exchange gases). #cacti

Its been cloudy here so no aurora id have to drive over 300 miles for no clouds to north. Storm definitely potent I included image netherlands tonight last night was pretty nuts with kp5 g1 class storming. #aurora

One of the first things i did as a child was reverse engineer the family home computer! Then proceeded to take apart the tv and reassemble to working order! In both cases i was warned by fam that it better work once i put back together. I also use to hack the local laundry machines for free wash&dry

The real cme just hit or at least a better one… better than the blast earlier that was slow as heck @ 360 km/sec.

Quite geomagnetically with lots of strong winds in Montana with approaching system! #weather #heliophysics #atmosphere

Gemini 3 was released today! Should be a good model for a change. They need to just sell the models and or make them cheap so more people can afford to buy then download deploy and use without worrying about tokens/limits #google

monsterstorms.com im not done but at least its up and working

Data shows we reached a G4 geomag storm last night, but I was too wiped out and kept falling asleep. Looks like I missed the higher values and the best chance to see it! #aurora #solar #heliophysics #geomagneticstorm Who all saw the aurora again last night?

More from #geomagnetic #storm. #iphone 15 shot. actually got pretty bright to the naked eye. #heliophysics #solar #aurora #photo

Compressed #Jpg from the drone this #photo was shot early on in the storm. It got much better later! #aurora #heliophysics

Storm appears to have gotten stronger!

Strong storm! #heliophysics

Very strong storm. I could see the red pillars even in town! Its not done yet. I swear it made my ears ring and i thought i could hear it!? Radiation storm ongoing as well. #heliophysics #aurora #geomagnetic #storm #solar

Aurora showing up ever so faintly did the north

A lot going on! #Solar storm (waiting) tech bubble could burst any moment (time to open short positions) on the biggest effected comps. (#Nvidia, tech stocks, #mag7) but tons of things could do. Severe weather too end of week impact just now lol

This government is banning dji drones making the usa an increasingly shitty and dangerous place to live. There are not. i repeat are not. any replacements for this in usa. Why? Why do something so stupid! It also makes us weaker militarily. #drones #dji #government #president #ban #usa

Moon dog. Like a sun dog but at night. Pretty rare. Shot from backyard. Its lazy shot which im not proud of but these things dont last long! #atmosphere #optics #moon #moondog #sundog #clouds #ice

Sunrise graces Tropical Storm Fung-Wong in the western Pacific Ocean. Fung-Wong is forecast to undergo a period of rapid intensification soon as it heads westward towards the Philippines.

Kp5 supposedly! Not sure if thats from hole or side swipe from one of the flares earlier in week? #heliophysics #aurora #geomagnetic #storm

Been a min! But more x flares with some maybe some earth directed component. #solar #flare #aurora #heliophysics

🤣 ok 6000 #cape randomly wow. wonder what this #radiosonde was smoking!
