Absolutely this. There is a total vacuum in politics as far as the environment is concerned. The hypocrisy of parties who pretend to care for the environment but want to build 1.5 million houses and have growth in every postcode is tragic.

Disgusting that the Tories have pledged to scrap the requirements for new homes to come with solar panels. Solar panels on new homes will save people hundreds of pounds, bolster our energy security, and will of course be hugely beneficial for the environment.

You could argue Tesco has already paid tax so their employees shouldn't pay tax on their wages. It's just as fatuous an argument as abolishing IHT, inherited wealth is unearned income, tax is always payable on unearned income.
