@davechen.bsky.social Hey, just a small correction for the most recent Filmcast. The episodes of S2 of The Afterparty are only just over 30 minutes long, it’s just the first episode that’s 44 minutes. And it’s very fun!

FF2 is a fine, straight forward adventure with a bizarre leveling system. FF3 has great gameplay and a degree of freedom with the job system (weirdly forcing you into some jobs for some encounters though) but kind of a terrible story. That’s the NES trilogy done though, the adventure continues.

Finished FFXVI over the weekend so I did the only sensible thing: spend hours to get FFXIII running properly so I can play it for the first time. I remember being very excited for it but being thrown off by the reviews. But now it’s all FF, all the time for this guy 😅
