Morning! First market of 2026 is today, wish me luck! I keep remembering little things then forgetting again. Hopefully after more ☕️ I remember 💁🏼‍♀️ Much troubleshooting went into the prep, cpl brand new prints, bookmarks which I had never done before. Excited to share! #pdxartist #pdxevent

I got an order (rare) for a small original watercolor! 🥰 I think this sale puts me into double digits. That’s right. All year. 10 sales. Guess that’s what happens when you aren’t well & drop off the face of the earth for months. 🫠 Trying to get back at it & I’m grateful for each one tho!

Proofing NEW reproduction prints of a striking coastal Amanita mushroom. Prep for the Oregon Mycological Society’s Fall Mushroom Show! I’ll have some originals in addition to my art prints. 🍄 10/25 12-5pm World Forestry Center. The new print will be added to shops Monday :) #pdx #pdxevents

Here’s an illustration from years ago, one of my first! Colored pencil Pacific Golden Chanterelle. Going down the mushroom foraging rabbit hole, I saw how many of the old chantie illustrations in ID books were inaccurate 🤓 Kind of a funny way to get back in to #art after years away from it 😅

I feel like people actually saw my art today 🤩 Cant lie, it felt good to knowing there are ppl out there that actually like my mushroom-y nature art. I know it’s not for everyone, so it was nice to feel seen. I’m attempting to prep for my first market of the year. Tired, rusty, but still here.

Finished my Columbia Gorge Naturalist Field Course yesterday. I’m so grateful for the experience & knowledge imparted! My capstone was on edible 🍂 mushrooms in the area. I blacked out & have no idea what I said. My fellow naturalists said I should teach a class, so it must not have been too bad 😂

Vernal equinox mode, engage! My heart & soul re-entered my body yesterday. Best menty h day of 2026 🥹 Thankful for the spring awakening every year. A fresh start, a lot of growth & changes. Taking some time to imagine the positive future I want for humanity, so that I can fight to make it real.

Just a few more days to catch “Imagine” at Nanny Goat Gallery. I have a piece in the show! Some really incredible artists participated in this one. I wish I had been able to go see it in person. :)

Just a handful of days left to see the hopeful exhibition "Imagine", plus solos from Ana Neves and Liz Bradford at Nanny Goat Gallery! These exhibits will end March 14th. Please contact Emily at hello@nannygoatgallery.com for more details. Featured artwork: “Moon Dreams” by artist Larysa Bernhardt

Prepping 6x6 panels for Keep It Wild! Art show in White Salmon, WA A portion of proceeds goes to @columbialandtrust 🖤 Affordable original art for an excellent cause! What should I paint?! I trend toward species found in the Columbia River Gorge. Last years paintings for reference 🎨🖼️⤵️ #art

Got more yarrow, aster, & echinacea seeds planted today. I’m trying multiple methods because my fall sown wildflowers may have been TOO protected from elements this winter. I’m scared it’ll be full of weeds & grass if I don’t fill it up! Here’s a lupine emerging from its winter slumber to say hi. 👋

Hi! Here’s my painting of an alpine meadow titled “Symbiosis” Crafted after observing a favorite meadow in the MHNF in OR. for a couple of seasons. Most of my pieces are a well researched labor of love. Because of AuDHD, I have to be REALLY compelled to follow through! #artsky #animalart #frogart
