The whale was painted negatively over a creative wash with salt patterns. I didn't use a pencil sketch. I tried different techniques here, inspired by Jean Haines Atmospheric Watercolours. Pigments used: Cobalt Blue (DS) Cobalt Turqoise (Sch) Pthalo Blue (DS) Lavender (DS) Alizarin Crimson (Sch)

One of my favourite fun vinyl records for spooky season. Nightmare Before Christmas, in the animated print edition. It's a double album and each side has a different set of little cute animations.
