There was a while in 2019 where this was most of what I created. It predates pops but it uses a similar technique to the proximity pop where it compares the points then for ones that are close enough it uses a geometry shader to create a line, all on the gpu. #touchdesigner

There was a time when Polyhedral Orbs weren't accepted in the broader Orb community by those who insisted that smooth curves were the only "valid" way to be an Orb. Thankfully society has moved past such bigotry. Humans need to be more like Orbs (the acceptance part not the roundness). #raytk
