In honor of #socktober, here’s the closest thing I’ve done to a sock. My then-almost-2-year-old was obsessed with ducks at the time. The white yarn was from my stash and in retrospect too thick-thin for colorwork, but I still think it turned out pretty cute. 🦆 #knitting 🧶

I saw this pattern and pounced at the chance to use a skein of variegated yarn I’ve had kicking around for years. It’s the Luminos Tee, a fun knit and clever construction. I took some nail-biting liberties to get it to work in sport weight, and I’m pleasantly surprised by how well it fits haha.

It can be intimidating to make something and then send it off to the void to hope other people like it, so it was so heartening to see so many lovely responses to my app. Thank you everyone ❤️💜
