Creativity is an act of resistance. May you find more strength in yourself. It felt "magic" writing this Post shaped around a poem inspired by The Tinman in The Wizard of Oz. The Goal Guidance/Poetry Prompt spoke to a lot of people. And it was so fun.

open.substack.comMy Poem Without a HeartThe Wizard of Oz guided me through heartache and into a print anthology during my first year of an annual poetry challenge. Writing Prompt. Goal Guidance.

This reflection on how "12 Week Years" helped me with my poetry collection is one of my favorite things I've published. Thankfully, I've felt this almost every week, every new Post. I've got more. I'm honored to be able to share. It's never too late to start something new.

We are looking for short stories, poetry, and audio. 😼We want alternate histories with cats playing a major role in the tail –er– tale. Asking this question: 🐈‍⬛️What changed because The Cat told all? (Or didn’t.) 🤝🏻SUBMIT: Use the Roses & Wildflowers link in my first link in my bio.

Studying a card reading for a week-- really living with it -- sounds so useful!

Melissa Love@gnome-and-tonic.bsky.social

I usually divine for important things only. I don't usually do a "I'll draw a card for this". It's more, "ok, this is a big change and I need to know what's up." I'll usually tack the whole layout to my wall and stare at it for weeks to unravel everything.
