Already some banger games so I think I might make a simple thread on games I've played through this year, with some highlights about what I enjoyed/disliked. So lets go, 2026 games.

Festival in a Box lair went badly for me because of failure during checkout, then a fake "success". I never get confirmation emails even when its working, but I can go without Todays is full of artists I love so I'll be REAL annoyed if this one fails. Concerned cause its a chaos vault

This guy looks so sick for the adventure looping deck I have. Cast an adventure from the GY, bounce an adventure creature to do it. Now play the creature from that adventure, and play the adventure for the creature you bounced. The value is off the charts

Something I've realized about Grandmother Goby: Its the ONLY card with @diterlizzi.bsky.social art than can be your commander! One more big reason for me to build it. I thought I had some deep tech, but sadly the wording of Guile makes him not work with Lullmage mentor OR Grandmother Goby. So close

I'd like to believe my homelands posting is personally responsible for the recent rep. It's incredibly cool to look through this thread Gavin started and see all the stuff that made it into the new Mystery Booster.

Really happy with all the Homelands love. I wasn't expecting too see much after Chandler and Joven. First actual Feroz on a card as well, not that his impact is too large outside of Serra's story. Dunno how many are build-worthy though 🤔

On top of giving some common legendaries adventures or abilities to cycle themselves, this is really good tech to help deal with the problem in limited. At least its something they are actively making solutions for, that should play well in a legendary matters set

Just rolled credits on Splatoon Raiders and this Lucky Star quote continues to be an all timer. I love Splatoon's big boss fights so much, they always knock it outta the park.

Excited to get into Splatoon Raiders, really digging the faces Deep Cut keep making. So far this Frye is my fav, such a gremlin

Its really weird Magic keeps the "Named creatures MUST be legends" when its not true of other named things, especially lands. Vesuva could have even been a legendary land and it would make no difference since it just turns into a copy anyway!
