I don't know who needs to hear this, but check your headlight alignment. If your high beams are off but your headlights are illuminating the sedan in front of you like a box lantern, you should get that looked at and fixed. My migraine will thank you.

Hi people. Psychologist here. Can folks please rein it in on conspiracy theories regarding Charlie Kirk? There is plenty to unpack with the hateful rhetoric he said, the tepid response from the right, the spin the right is trying to use to call for civil war, etc. But, the motive is still unknown.

We know bullet casings suggest he's seeped in Internet culture and possibly familiar with Fuentes. We also know he's raised in a right wing, gun loving family. But we also know he's young, and at that age most people are still trying to discover themselves. His roommate was also trans.

It's very unlikely any one narrative will fit. Maybe they did what they thought was right by shooting a bad guy, as conservatives are raised to do. But maybe that bad guy was Kirk because they were exposed to views outside their bubble. We just don't know.

The stuff about Miller talking about littering in high school reminded me that I too went to high school there, around the same time. There were indeed a lot of spoiled brats at that school, and I did indeed hate it there. They cared now about not upsetting rich parents than anything else.

After a week of having to take care of two toddlers alone, WHILE jugging a part time job, I was finally ready to kick back and enjoy the weekend (before grading papers tomorrow, anyway). And then my favorite head of state got bullied by two idiots pretending to be big men and ruined my evening. Ugh
