As BlueSky has just hit 20mil users, we thought we'd introduce ourselves! We're the Talyllyn Railway - running from Tywyn on the Welsh Coast up into the mountains towards Abergynolwyn & Nant Gwernol. In 1951 we became the World's First Preserved #Railway, starting the Heritage Railway movement!

On our guided experience, ‘Y Tren Nadolig Fictoriadd’, you can learn about the Victorian origins of many of our present-day Christmas Traditions, tales of distinctly Welsh ways of celebrating, and practices now lost to the mists of time.

SERVICE UPDATE - 23/10/26 All trains will terminate at Abergynolwyn for the next few days due to fallen trees, we will give an update when the line is clear & service to Nant Gwernol resumes. Please do not go to Nant Gwernol if you are wanting to catch a train.
