I'm by the rockband stage at Pax West doodling in a fugue state and this wonderful enforcer walks up to me and gives me a tiny goose & a red squishy thing. They've become fast friends with last year's axolotl so here's where I am atm. #pax

Scientists are furious over Russell Vought's major proposal today - giving this admin final say on grants, effectively dismissing the entire scientific peer review process. But the proposal is also deeply systemic. It's been really hard to deal with the news lately, which is saying something.

Oh today is Fibonacci day! Love this. My Two of cups art is all about it. Not only the golden ratio curve layout, but ✨sparkles✨ grouped in sequence, too: 1, 1, 2, 3, ... to 34. 🐌 You can buy a Chromatic Fates deck if you like. It features 78~ artists each painting 1 card to form a rainbow. 🌈

For Mer..vember? πŸ‚πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ "Memento Mermori". Grayscale spectras beneath acrylic markers & gellyroll white. Don't like BG but those were untested pens. Acrylic so vibrant. Gold metallic pen for jewelry shine! Lines drawn w copic gray pen is really nice to add black ink depth later on. Pretty day in Seattle

🌧 Rainy day art trying out Stephanie's acrylic markers. Very opaque, even covers gellyroll white. But alcohol markers (copic) seem to shade if done first & acrylic afterwards. Incidentally sauteed mushrooms are delicious. πŸ„
