I have this new method I used: -First draft. Just the barebones. Plot, Dialogue, action. -Second draft. Fix flow. Add Character -Third Draft. Add flare. That way I get the barebones done quickly and don't weight it down with unneeded bs. You can then easily rewrite whole sections if needed.

I have done a lot of reviews lately both on RR and off. This stuff is rampant. Do people really want to wade through tons of overweight descriptions and overwrought metaphors? Too much flare, too little plot. I am talking paragraphs dripping with metaphors, repeats, and overdramatic descriptions
