Hi! I’m Teagan Gavet and I make comics! You can read Oren’s Forge (300+ pages!) right now, for free! It’s about animals entering a Bronze Age, the evolution of a multi-species society, and a dash of omnivore existential crisis. Rated PG13 for that one time a character swears. (links below!)

The USPS (which is constitutionally enshrined and been slowly sabotaged for decades) is your right, and one more thing we need to vote/fight to restore, protect and keep price-fixed and affordable. Otherwise, the future is surveillance price gouging for delivering medication, essentials, everything.

I’m sure plenty of folks have gotten this email from Pirateship by now, essentially warning that carriers are switching to dynamic, algorithmic pricing that can change multiple times per week (and one presumes, multiple times per day, should said algorithm detect you are…perhaps doing a shop drop…)

I had the pleasure of doing a wrap-around cover for The Sky Pirate's Prisoner by John R Robey (@gneech.com) for FurPlanet (@furplanet.com) earlier this summer! Here's the full wrap around and the titled version. I've read it and recommend it if you're looking for a sapphic adventure with airships!

(sorry to repost, forgot alt text!) Also, I really love painting clouds so this was super fun! I wish I had made a time lapse but I got really into the groove-- I had sat down to start working, intending to just rough it out, and ended up doing the whole sky in one sitting.

This is on my mind a lot. Kids benefit from a safe way to experience sadness, loss or fear because life is inevitably full of it. They need guided chances to process, ask questions, see cause/effect without having to live it. It leads to healthier adults with more tools in their emotional toolbox.

Kasey Gifford@kaseygifford.bsky.social

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.

Two things I really miss about LiveJournal was the excuse to commission artists for new icons (you'd usually have different icons for different types of posts/moods) and also having a spot to add "what you're listening to." There was a subtle art to song choice, like flower arrangements of yore.

Smattering of some more art bound for #AnthroCon-- Been messing around offline with a lot of art this year, part of that has been exploring some midcentury design aesthetics. Each of these hand painted guys is sequentially numbered and unique.

A white tiger/snow leopard kinda guy, where you can see the iridescence pretty well! Anyway, these have been a fun excuse to play around with color pallets I don't normally get to work with!

Hey #Anthrocon attendees! I have a new magnet series I'm debuting! Meet the Fishpuppies! All hand painted, one of a kind little weirdos that are ready to swim around on your preferred magnetic surface! Come to my booth (C02) and adopt one next weekend!

Here's how it turned out! Pretty happy with this one. :] This guy will be up for sale in the #AnthroCon art show this weekend, along with a few others I've been working on! #AnthroCon2026

I had some Coyote Express patches made, plus a few BIG vinyl stickers (and smaller ones). You can find 'em this weekend at #AnthroCon, specifically at my partner @spainimation.bsky.social 's table in the dealers den (C02)! (You might find me skulking around, too.) #Anthrocon2026

In other sticker-related news, I also got some vinyl Rask sticker sheets made! You can find these as well at table C02 in the #AnthroCon dealer's room, should you have surfaces wanting of a pine marten.
