Not gonna lie, took a half day off work just to nap guilt free

RIP #TomSkerritt #Alien #TopGun #Contact #SpaceCamp (personal nostalgia fav) and many more credits

That makes total sense. What do you think?

AI and filmmaking: We need this vast cinematic wide establishing shot with thousands of extras. Cost (practical real, months or prep): $500,000+ Cost (VFX team, couple of weeks if pushed): $25,000+ AI (10-15 minutes, a little longer with some variations): Under $3

In retrospect, Moulin Rouge (2001) is such a cringe film, remembering Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit randomly playing and McGregor (horribly miscast) trying to sing Your Song 😐

Back to work today, plus side only two days then off for the remainder and weekend

I look forward to the day all cars are driverless and fully automated, too many motorists lose their temper over the most trivial of delays or inconveniences

Well, logical thought and education aren't exactly traits found in most MAGA people. 🙄

Melanie D'Arrigo Is Onto The Grifter In Chief.......

Agree With Abdul El-Sayed.......

😕

Later today I finally get access to my PC again after nearly 3 full days, yes it’s sad but I can’t wait

This 👇

This is for my own entertainment! Enjoy 😊 #Pinks #USDemocracy

Not gonna lie, when I feel down I listen to the Dawson’s Creek opening credits music and it instantly cheers me up (Paula Cole’s season 2+ music of course)

Rewatched the #Alien Trilogy (theatrical, theatrical and assembly cut), they really hold up as a cohesive whole, yes #Alien3 has some questionable effects shots but everything else is consistent with the world established, unlike Resurrection which goes bananas (not watching that again).

Here I was thinking it may be half price now 😐

Aliens (1986) theatrical cut really flows so much better

Revisiting Aliens (1986 - theatrical cut, better version), and Burke clearly states in Ripley’s apartment that he requested she go on the mission, which makes sense, if he planned to get rid of her early on so he could claim exclusive rights of a specimen was returned

I like AI and I like using AI (runs and hides)

Randomly rewatched Alien (1979), still admire it visually but honestly none of the characters are likeable and I kinda didn’t care when any of them died 😐

Two people have now died from the plague in a Siberian Lab, I feel like this should be getting more attention

OK, I have Thursday and Friday at home but no access to my room and PC while it’s being renovated, the plan: Alien: Theatrical Cut Aliens: Theatrical Cut Alien3: Assembly Cut Spare time given to the Blue Ray documentaries

Having my bedroom flooring done, no access to my PC until Saturday midday… I don’t know how I’m going to cope

So there’s a high chance DPD lost my new iphone at their depot, could have just said that instead being vague with there’s “an issue with your parcel” for the last 4 days, now I have to wait another 3 days while they do a search 😐

US recalling all their bombers from RAF Fairfield because they need the siphon their fuel ⛽️

So many anti vaxxers and Covid deniers at work, I sometimes can’t tell if they genuinely believe it or just want to be contrarian, I just say next time you get sick don’t see a doctor and free up space for the rest of us

Just realised, #StarWars only has 3 permanently mutilitated good films, another good film stitched together with reshoots that half works (Rogue One) and two brilliant seasons of a live action series (Andor), everything else is absolute garbage

Indian parents will introduce you to large groups extended family members you probably met for 1-2 times decades ago for less than 3 minutes and expect you to hold a 20 minute conversation in the living room while they make tea and snacks 😐

Was really planning on setting up the new iPhone this weekend, but #DPD decided to send it to my local depot on Friday, message me the pin, then say nah well send it on Monday now

An hour straight on #Witcher3 Remaster on the PC, 120fps, mostly high settings, no bugs or glitches, and I was wandering through densely populated Novigrad, I think these complaints from people are exaggerated or just clickbait

I always wanted to know how old the characters were meant to be in #Ghostbusters (1984), guess we’ll never know

Still disappointed Netflix felt the need to wrap up #Arcane with just two seasons

Not sure why people are complaining so much about the #Witcher3 remaster, granted I’ve not had a lengthy play on the PC or PS5 but but when testing and doing a few contracts I can’t see what people are so unhappy about, PS5 standard version may need a patch for a little stutter lag at times

My prediction for 2027, rogue AI is gonna do some serious damage to the financial sector, hopefully isolated to the US but it’s inevitable the rest of the world will be affected

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood remains one of the most boring films about nothing I have ever seen

When Biden tripped, the media replayed it, analyzed it, and talked about it for months. When Trump falls asleep in the Oval Office every day, networks don’t even cover it. It’s only on social media. Same presidency, very different media coverage.

All settings configured on PC for #Witcher3 Remaster, tested a little and quite impressed, 120fps with ray tracing on, the new PC can handle it (which it should considering how much I spent on it at the start of the year lol)
