This point is better than the 0 that the Quakes were staring at until the death. Currently 5th in the West but that 3 to 1 point swing could prove costly for Real Salt Lake. It’s kill or be killed at this stage of the season.

45 minutes left to take playoff matters one step forward.

A reminder of the clinch scenario as kickoff approaches: San Jose will clinch a berth in the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs if: 1 San Jose win at Salt Lake AND Portland lose at LA or... 2 San Jose win at Salt Lake AND San Diego lose/draw vs. Houston Go Quakes! #VamosSJ

First half summary: cinema

Opportunities for players such as Earl Edwards Jr. and Paul Marie, particularly in Marie’s case seeing his role reduced from seasons past. We’ll see which club’s depth is good enough to get a result.

Angus Gunn kept a clean sheet in Slovenia this morning. A great Earthquakes player during his time here Marcos Lopez faces the #USMNT next in Orlando.

If there’s a full slate of MLS games during any international window, even this new longer one, then maybe MLS plays too many extra games. *cough* Leagues Cup *cough*
