Since election in Jan 2025, Trump has promised $13K to citizens in dividends from DOGE savings and expiring ACA subsidies, tariff dividends and a victory dividend if Republicans win the midterms. (it must be spent in the USA!) I'm still waiting. I thought Congress authorized Federal spending?

Postal Service is supposed to deliver mail, not decide who gets to vote chicago.suntimes.com/columnists/2... Note that Trump has also stacked the deck by appointing Republicans to control the Board of Governors which has traditionally been evenly split between the two parties.

HSI says being an ICE agent is dangerous ; so they cover their faces and wear combat gear. But ICE data over 23 years shows the job is quite safe. Only TWO ICE agents died from being shot. One was hit by a car, one by heart attack in a footchase and one by accidental gun discharge. (Mother Jones)
