Code + Coffee is back at Café Stella! ☕ Join Chazona and me Saturday, Aug. 22, 9:30–11:30 AM in Ghent, Norfolk. No talks or agenda. Bring a laptop, a project, a question, or just yourself and hang out with the Hampton Roads tech community.

One heads up: Café Stella asks everyone hanging out in the space to make a purchase. Totally reasonable, they’re a local shop and they make great stuff. Grab a coffee or pastry and you’re good.

This is a website: <h1>hello</h1> <p>I made this.</p> Save as index.html, open in a browser. Done. No install, no build step. That's the whole premise of HTML Day. Come write some by hand. 📅 Sat Aug 8, 10am-2pm 📍 ECPI, Virginia Beach www.meetup.com/757dev/event...

meetup.comHTML Day | Freewrite, Sat, Aug 8, 2026, 10:00 AM | Meetup**This event is in person only.** HTML is just writing. You type words, save the file as `.html`, open it in a browser, done. You've made a website. That's the whole trick

the rest of the batch: - 3 challenges/day across difficulties, per-difficulty streaks - layout toggle (rows ⇄ columns), no flash on load - Noto Color Emoji pinned across the site - prompt nudges semantic HTML - clipped-render bug fixed would love feedback on difficulty timing + scoring.

Taking on a community leadership role with @aicollectivehr.bsky.social. Volunteer work I'm passionate about — helping connect builders in the 757 with AI resources and each other. (Still actively looking for my next senior frontend/fullstack role btw — if you know someone, I'm all ears.)

I am aware that today's cssdaily challenge rendered outside the bounds. I'll be tweaking the prompt today to try to sort that out while also implementing some of the suggestions I've received! Thanks everyone who's tried it out so far!
