Most of the people who attend Trump rallies do not want to be governed, they want to be entertained and to have their own behaviours and prejudices validated by someone in power. It's funny that the those who suffer the most from his policies, decisions and actions the people attending his rallies.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani's guiding principles seem to be "If we should do it we shall do it!" and from the John Wick movies, "how you do anything is how you do everything". He must be the hardest worker in the room, always!

Why did Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand even respond to Donald Trump's comments on immigration in Canada. He does not warrant a response. He should either be totally ignored or told to mind his own business and to pay attention to the myriad of problems facing the US.

He told the world at the UN that he is good at this stuff. The stuff Donald Trump is good at benefits only himself, nobody else. It is a wonder he did not educate them in the correct spelling for "dumb". If someone says you are dumb, no big deal, but if you are "Trump Dumb" that's a real insult!.

This Canadian would like to thank President Trump for three things. Firstly, his trade actions in have caused Canada to leave the US behind and to successfully pursue other trading partners and investment options to ensure our continued economic prosperity.

Secondly, his betrayal of Ukraine and his loss of the war with Iran have confirmed we need different allies, those we can trust and that can actually deliver on their promises and who like Canada are seen as reliable and trustworthy partners on the international stage.

Thirdly, his actions towards US elections, citizens and others confirm the true value of Canada's commitment to human rights, equality under the law and to free and fair elections. These things can be lost if a nation is not careful. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

I wonder what would happen if someone asked the President what a data centre does or perhaps had the nerve to ask him what AI is. Does he even know, or does he just know that he, his family and his "friends" are making money, and of course, that is all that really matters in the US right now.

Biden wanting to reduce student debt was opposed by Republicans. Trump offering $5000 each American adult if the Republicans win the midterms is called "creative thinking" by the Speaker. The Republican Party exists in name only, it is now essentially a subsidiary of the The Trump Organization.

The President of the USA is in uncharted territory. Canada has a population of just over 41 million people and not one of us cares or fears what he says or does. His latest big threat, "I'm going to change change the name of a lake." That might bother us if we were as petty and pitiful as he is.

Iran wants to see "corrected behaviour" before opening the Strait of Hormuz. They act as if they think they are dealing a toddler, or perhaps a rebellious teenager. Doesn't look like "they really want to make a deal", looks more like Iran is "holding all the cards".

So we fully paid for the Gordie Howe bridge to improve access to US markets. The US dictated that it will will now get get half of the revenues and continues at add/increase tariffs on Canadian goods, restricting access to those markets. How does Canada benefit from the $6B spent on the bridge?

What is up with the Prime Minister of Canada calling the illegal US war with Iran "totally worth it"? If he truly believes this he is humiliating himself and our country, if he doesn't believe it but is saying it to gain favour with the US President, he is humiliating himself and our country.

So Mark Rutte says that the President of the United States of America is disappointed with NATO allies, I wonder if any NATO allies are disappointed with him? Why can't Mark Rutte or other "world leaders" communicate their true feelings, like say Pedro Sánchez, the Prime Minister of Spain?

How is it possible that the US President rationalizes Putin/Russia suppling intelligence to Iran (gives them a pass) and that Republicans are okay with this? If this intelligence already has or does result in US casualties, should this not be an issue for them, and indeed for all Americans?

Might be time to re-evaluate the "roll over and play dead" strategy that the Canadian government has adopted in dealing the USA. While Canada "negotiates" the US "dictates". We may have dropped our elbows prematurely?

Could we not have used the stuck to our gun s on the Digital Services Tax and said "we can talk about it in trade negotiations"? Did we just give away one of our best bargaining chips for seemingly nothing in return?

You are up to date.
