Rest in power, Walter Koenig, best known as Pavel Chekov in Star Trek and Alfred Bester in Babylon 5. I liked him even him even better in B5.

6 months after Orban's election defeat another Putin supporter is exiting. Serbia's Aleksandar Vučić decisively lost the elections last night, after being 14 years in power. The opposition of teachers and students will take the lead.

Vučić and especially his network behind him were essentiell for Russia's meddling into Serbia. Vučić also had a rather close relationship with associates of Trump. Grenell and Jared Kushner were in the Serbian capital, discussing "infrastructure" projects.

Another factory in Russia has been struck this afternoon, this time in Yelets, Lipetsk region. Several impacts have been reported. The area has been cordoned off and ambulances are rushing in.

Imagine being a CEO of an US energy company and thinking that you work with close associates of the Trump family, only to find out that behind them is a sanctioned Russian company, really pulling the strings.

The people in Alaska just need to look over to Russia, where the richest regions in terms of minerals and hydrocarbon resources have been stripped-mined, transferring all the wealth to Moscow and Saint Petersburg and leaving a scarred landscape in extreme poverty. That is the result of corruption.

We are starting to see more details why Trump and his friends are trying so strongly to bully Ukraine into surrender. This is most certainly only the tip of the iceberg.

Reportedly, that project was also discussed between Witkoff and Jared Kushner when they were with Putin. The White House admitted that the project was talked about "briefly".

We are witnessing the greatest corruption scandal the USA has ever witnessed. It all leads to Trump, his family and the Russians, and apparently they were even ready to sell riches of Alaska to the Russians.

This happened in Alaska. Polar Train LNG's CEO, Joel Riddle, stepped down after finding out that the Russian "Novatek" company, which is under US sanctions, has been involved in a $25 billion energy project in Alaska. The CEO thought that he was working with Gentry Beach, a close friend of Trump Jr.

The recent Starlink / Starshield incident in Ukraine has created a dangerous precedence for the US export industry, many haven't yet grasped. The sudden deactivation respectively curtailing of those systems without warning not only cost precious lives, but also equipment worth millions.

Trump and Musk have given the best reason why not to buy American. Customers - governmental and private alike - around the globe will take note of this and act accordingly, and I wouldn't be surprised if this won't be limited to US military products only.

This is why we see the blame game between Musk and Trump. I'm sure that people around those guys told them how absolutely shortsighted and stupid this step was. It will fall back on the entire US industry. Not even those two guys are worth that losses and backlash.

A functional US Congress would immediately start subpoenas and hearings, asking questions in order to mitigate the damage, but here we are.

Whether it is Starlink, the F-35, Tomahawk missiles or HIMARS. All those systems run on software and in many cases can only properly operate with recent updates. You don't even need have a kill switch.

You can only refuse to update and many of those systems lose more than 90% of their effectiveness within a short period, making them worthless.

This will be noted by clients around the globe who purchase US weapons and technology. If agreements are not honored and can unilaterally and even clandestinely be altered based on the whims of a few, who only follow their own motives or election lies, then the all concept reliability falls apart.

Ukraine on the other hand didn't switch sides and even helped the US in the most recent and botched Iran war, despite being short on ammunition itself. The Ukrainian government accepted every possible compromise and offered an unconditional ceasefire from the start.

Coming up with this bogus story, now, three weeks before midterms is therefore as transparent as it is shameless. It is obvious for everyone that this was just figleaf statement so that a political agenda can be pushed, an agenda which runs counter to US strategic nationalist interests.

And this is the real scandal. It is not new that the US had to lock out its technology or supplies to nations with which it had previously good and even cordial relation. Iran under the Shah, South-Vietnam and Cuba before Castro are just three to name it.

SpaceX has been fully aware that its Starlink terminals are being used by Ukrainian forces. Especially when considering that Ukraine only recently had to white-list their Starlink terminals for its military so that Russian forces, who have been abundantly using Starlink as well, were locked out.

It has always been clear that those Starlink terminals are used for and by the Ukrainian military, and Ukraine has always been thankful for that.

The explanation that Starlink must not be used for "offensive" means is nonsense, too. Starlink has never been turned on over Russia, and using it in Ukraine is by definition defensive in nature.

You can even argue that hitting Russian targets in Russia is defensive, since you don't have to wait for an attack to be conducted. Even the intention is enough to warrant action and to eliminate the threat at the source. But this is a different topic.

Though the blame game between the White House (Trump) and SpaceX (Musk) is going on, ultimately it doesn't matter. It showed the world that the USA are not a reliable partner any more.

Pointing at some obscure "violation of terms of services" without providing the exact passage are just increasing that notion that this was a political move.

New footage emerged showing strikes using “Stormshadow” missiles upon the “Proton” plant in Oryol, Russia. The operation was carried out on October 23. The plant produced various products for Russia’s military. During the operation the workshop and an administrative building was struck.

After massive criticism Starlink and Starshield have been fully restored in Ukraine. This was due to the great efforts by the people of the USA, in Europe and elsewhere who wouldn’t allow this deeply inhumane and wrong decision to go unanswered. Good job!

Ukrainian long-range drones conducted a deep-strike operation in Russia and struck a chemical plant in Omsk, more than 2500 km from the Ukrainian border.

Poland’s Foreign Ministry Sikorski not only reminds Elon Musk that the USA haven’t been paying a cent to Ukraine in almost two years and in fact even benefited from the arms sales, but also schooled him that he is only damaging his brands when meddling in foreign countries.

The blame game between Elon Musk and the White House is going into the next round. And all what the Ukrainian president did is just name it. Using Starlink respectively Starshield for political games is a political and economic own goal of epic proportions.

The oil prices only know one way and this is up. They have climbed continuously in October. Trump’s announcement regarding the minuscule Russian promise has not even dented that, predictably. The Strait of Hormuz is severely disrupted and the Iranian regime plays Trump like a fiddle.

This Russian Su-30SM crashed in the Kaliningrad region. The fact that it happened next to a Russian graveyard is noteworthy. Maybe an overflight for a fallen comrade.

President Zelenskyy stated that the US refused to share intel regarding ballistic missile strikes for three days. Like I said, it has zero to do with oil prices.

Representative Gregory W. Meeks, Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement after the Trump administration announced it would waive sanctions on Russia:

"Donald Trump has spent years chasing the Nobel Peace Prize. After weeks of pro-Putin policy and this shameful waiver, he deserves a different honor: the Neville Chamberlain Appeasement Award."

The Ukrainian operation against Saint Petersburg, Russia, has been the largest in this war against this Russian city. Three major targets were hit during this operation: - The local oil terminal respectively the oil storage units - The VKontakte Datacenter - The local Ozon logistics hub

It needs to be paraphrased that neither Starlink nor Starshield can be used for this operation by the Ukrainian military, since those services have always been been off limits for Ukrainian forces. Only Ukrainian end products are used.

Pictures released by TG channel "Dnipro Osint" show a gaping hole in the datacenter of VKontakte (Russian Facebook) near Saint Petersburg in Russia.

Also, energy infrastructure supplying a Russian datacenter including VKontakte (Russian Facebook) in Saint Petersburg, Russia, was also targeted. In this footage a transformer was hit.
