Why is the word "gaffe" so seldom included in Trump articles? He makes gaffes like cows fart, in the hundreds daily, but they are still gaffes. I think the word "weird" should also be deployed for almost everything his administration does, in addition to questions of legality and constitutionality.

What is happening to the Whitehouse right now is a metaphor for our country. It is being permanently ruined by a bunch of dumba**es, and they are only just starting. This country is done, being destroyed from within. A government that allows this is not worth saving.

Republicans, with their preponderance of authoritarian personality types, have always been enormous hypocrites, but lately, with their cancel culture/free speech frenzy and absolute lawlessness in weaponizing the government, they are jaw-droppingly hypocritical. Self awareness approaching zero.

What if things worked like this in the USA? Massive protests against a controversial and unconstitutional practice by the government, so the government ceases that practice. One can dream.

Nothing triggers authoritarians like peaceful protests, the bigger the better. Please keep them peaceful.

As a rule, politicians are loose with the truth. But there has never been this level of dishonesty in the executive branch. You would be hard pressed to find one true thing a day coming out of every office and department. It is a magnitude 9 lie-quake all day, every day.

I think the best way to take on Trump is to ignore him. The media should stop going to his gaggles and stop talking about him, referring instead to the administration and all their mistakes and crimes.

I was hoping against hope the media would ignore the election of a new Pope. Irrelevance and fraud are never enough to cause them to look away.

As a former devout Roman Catholic (social justice version), it is hard not to emphasize enough this Easter how little modern Christianity has to do with the teachings of Jesus. Christianity has become a cover for extreme selfishness and tribalism, two of the things Jesus discouraged the most.
