We finally made it to our yearly pilgrimage to Eden Hill/Shrine of the Divine Mercy. We lit some candles and I got myself a few items. Not pictured are medals to add to my go-to Rosary. I also got a Divine Mercy Rosary to pray the Chaplet/Novena and this little book a friend recommended.

I made brownies for my former residents today as a treat. We all had a great & fun time, & I was then told afterwards that I'm not allowed to be there anymore. I quit silently, I wasn't fired and I was invited to be there.

Dark Chocolate, mint chocolate Andes brownie bites. I'm going to stop by to see my residents tomorrow and drop them off. They're so good..!

I bump up my couscous with fresh veggies and herbs. While I love it when it's a warm dish, I also treat it like I do tabouleh and add it to salad greens.

I don't think I've hated an employer/company as much as I do now. They literally forced me into quitting. The managers are scared of the admin to stand up for good employees. I've worked my ass off in the last 6mo & built relationships w/ my residents to have it disappear overnight.

I went in this AM and looked at the schedule. I knew this bitch is still on her power trip & not going to budge. I was so happy the last 6mo and I thought I finally found a great work place. Time to hustle again & start all over again.

Been stressed with work as of late. When I get stressed I have a hard time sleeping & I don't really eat at all. I made myself some 'tortang talong' grilled eggplant omelette, veggie brown rice, and some pinoy ensalada. Can't forget the spicy vinegar sauce! So hearty & filling 💛🇵🇭

jeez, I tripped on the front steps and gashed my knees and elbow, and opened up my big toe slightly. Both have been cleaned up and are okay, just slightly throbbing. I'm still hoping for a run, and we're still definitely going for a drive up to a Shrine tomorrow, lol

I'm a retired [kandy kyd] raver, but I was feeling nostalgic so I made some Kandy. I found these colorful shaped wooden beads and these fun round smiley beads. Who knows, maybe I'll come out to a party one of these days ~ 🌠🌈🍬

One of the reasons why I love my residents in my unit. One of them loves poetry and they wrote about me. It makes me cry.

While presents are nice, a simple card with written words of encouragement and kindness is what all I could ask for for my Birthday.

When people ask you how you're doing at work & things are going bad for at work, do you lie and say you're good? Today I'm being honest, I tell them, "I'm not okay, but I'm here." Like, why lie? I'm doing my job, I don't have to be fake.

I cleaned up our House Altar today, and I'm glad this is still there. A trivet or Peyton/Paten to "charge" ritual items on. A round hand painted ceramic dish with a Pentagram and Alchemical symbols for the Elements.

I greeted "Happy Autumn Equinox!" to one of my resident who is an herbalist & naturalist. She then handed me a small bundle of Mugwort. I bundled it up after my Prayers and I thanked the herb and asked it to watch over our apartment in this coming dark half of the year. Blessed Equinox!

Only four herbal incense bundles this season, & that's totally fine! Local Mugwort, Garden Sage, Rosemary, and a little bit of Lavender. Wrapped with intention & binding all the light from this past year, so it can be released when the time is right. Blessed Autumn Equinox/Mabon 🌞🍁

Cutting back the garden. Garden Sage, Lavender and Rosemary and I also foraged for some local Mugwort today as well.

1/ I dug up some rooted Lemon Balm and Spearmint. Washed them so they're bare roots. Wrapped them up in wet paper towels in a plastic pot. This is for a resident of mine who wants to plant them in her planter for teas/etc.

I was a bit down earlier today, so I prayed & asked Deity/God for a sign if I'm on the right path with what I'm doing my with myself. Then later in the day a resident of mine who loves poetry wrote something over the weekend and left it on the Cafe table. I think that was the sign I needed 💛

Scrap cord knotted Decade Rosary. Pray the introductory prayers before going to work and then meditate and pray the decades during down time at work, then close the Rosary when you get home. It's a simple and yet a powerful practice. Mother Mary always watches over us.

I have some scrap Paracord so I made a Decade Rosary. Knotted Paracord Cross, wooden beads and a round Miraculous Medal. A great pocket Rosary for everyday use.

Going to cut back on Reddit. Sadly it's as bad as any other Social media spaces. This space is better, but gotta be careful with doom scrolling.

I made a small pocket Rosary today, out of seed beads and a metal bead Cross.

Dave [husband] trimmed off some of our Monstera varieties and Philodendrons and rooted them in a big vase. They'll be fine in water so I'm keeping them in a vase by a window at the Cafe at work. At least my residents can enjoy them and the filtered oxygen they'll bring..!

A resident of mine shared with me her devotion to Our Lady of Fatima & how she converted to Catholicism because of Her and the Rosary. She said she made a Rosary inspired of Our Lady's dress, so I made her a similar one out of Mission Rosary beads & glass seed beads, so she can carry it w/ her.

Tomorrow morning is Daily Mass - day. It's been a minute, I can't wait for the the Holy Rosary and Mass.
