Heartbroken to hear that Congressman Krishnamoorthi and his family were targeted by an attempted mass shooting while worshipping. Congress must fight the horrifying rise in anti-Hindu attacks: everyone should be able to practice their faith without fear.

My family and I were worshipping at our Hindu temple in Aurora on Sunday when a white supremacist attempted a mass shooting targeting Indian Americans. I'm grateful to those who prevented a tragedy, but we must all come together to confront the hatred that put so many innocent lives at risk.
