I wanna make a story/game that is told exclusively through varyingly good-to-bad faith video essays/plot summaries done by youtubers who all have differing interpretations of the text. The only semi-accurate take comes from one of those Ending Explained channels because it just summarizes the plot

reverse-YCH SCP where a sentient Vaguely-Fox-Shaped-YCH retcons itself into various pics you made because it just wanted to be included. if you give it a backstory and draw it on-purpose and add details to it, it turns into Your Character and becomes placated, losing its sentience but now content

alternatively, wishing it didn't have to essentially die just to be happy, you refuse to define its backstory for it. it then gains a backstory via its real-life interactions with you, slowly. it grows old with you, and you both die, now content

hearing SPAWN for the first time got me happy and irritated because that kind of thing was what I was waiting literal years to see in deltarune. You can't give me Amalgam in Undertale and say "oooh the next game is gonna be SPOOKY" but we gotta wait years to get a proper Nightmare Fetus? outraged

EVERYTHING leading up to deltarune was hyping up the Darkness angle and everything being more grim. yet deltarune has been fairly steady in its tone. and then you get a nightmare fetus and it's like "welcome home Horrors, I missed you" and then Chapter 5 is mostly Normal again. where are my fetuses

chapter 6 and 7 owe me several nightmare fetuses. with interest. clock's ticking

Fun fact: all of my non-toy furry characters are Chimeras. They all got something Weird about them. you can just call Valerie a gryphon, but her wolf brother, Thomas, is technically about the same hodge-podge of genes. unrelated: Valerie liked to play Flash games while growing up on military bases

I don't draw her often, hence most of these just being previous commissions of here. zevifa paid me to draw most of these. thank you for having good taste zev. i'm sorry i don't draw her on a whim more often
