I have all the time I could ever want and writing my book was still a task that strained me. Not everyone is built the same, what helps one person might hinder another.

Still yet to see if the godfather of cyberpunk vibes @greatdismal.bsky.social has even so much as seen or become aware of my book... Long ago I had reached out to see if he'd write a foreword for the book, such was my eager hunger of the project. For now, I'm just happy it got finished!

Because:- I figure I must be cursed... There is a small glitch. the e-book was uploaded and ready to pop into existence and then I discover a problem of the ISBN and so must re-do it. So, it may be live? Or it may yet still need me to get that fixed this week.

So, if I may take this space for some author grumbling; problems that I am faced with: 1: Reaching the US market, serious issues getting books into Amazon US. 2: The E-book is now, stuck waiting response on it's release and I've no idea how to chase the ticket. So many people cannot buy the book😵

Yup... Waiting on a response now to my ticket for the e-book having 'gotten stuck'. It seems that no version of my book wants to go willingly out in to the public... *sigh*

Well, it looks like I raised the ire of 'sods law' - the e-book submission is 'stuck' How does a digital submission... get stuck... ? I'm left waiting on customer service ticket replies so I'd advise no holding you're breath if waiting on this release date.

If there any any folk out there that enjoy the Netflix series: 'Person of Interest' I will recommend my book as- what happens after. There are some surprisingly similar themes raised, and the show plays out almost like a prelude to what's in my book: The Binary Butterfly.

I’ve now lived so much longer than I would ever have expected to that I feel I’m living in the future. This is when I imagined Neuromancer happening. And now the creators of today’s AI warn us that it threatens humanity.

Unrelated to anything: recently something I'd written was compared positively to being akin to the work of Douglas Adams. And, honestly, I'm a little chuffed about it. ☺️ Awkwardly, the tone of The Binary Butterfly is very different. But it was nice to get compliments about something.
