Celtic have only played one team this season (Benfica) that have a greater wage budget than ours I’d kill for a season in which we achieved the absolute minimum of regularly beating teams that, on paper, we should be expected to beat

Anger is making way for apathy amongst our support There’s no expectation of victory in these games - or even a decent performance I guarantee if you offered the support the chance to not play these games at all, the vast majority would prefer it A depression hanging over the club at present

Callum Osmand has to come in to contention regularly for the first XI now Any time we’ve asked anything of him, he’s done exceptionally well First ever senior appearance today, playing out of position, and for only 45 minutes: two goals! Have to find space for him in that squad. Serious talent

Hearts’ back-line today cost more to assemble than ours Of our starting XI, Celtic paid money for only six of those players - and half of those were pretty nominal fees Only three players starting today - Baur, Hassan and Duran - cost us over £1.5m 🥜 🥜 🥜

As Celtic fans we've even lowered our benchmarking ..we talk about being more like Brugge, Bodo, LASK, Midjitland, etc when we're closer in size to Benfica, Ajax, Sporting, AEK etc..this board have got us believing with managed decline that we're nowhere near these clubs.. we should be & could be!!

It might be just me, but honestly, I’m struggling to summon the desire to watch this Celtic team at the minute I’ve seen worse Celtic teams (probably) But I just can’t remember ever being less enthusiastic about a Celtic team It’s l so dull, slow, pointless.. …and all so totally needless

In the fog of all the emotion surrounding Jota’s return I almost forgot that he’s a fucking brilliant player This isn’t going to be a vintage season for all the reasons we know But, horribly, throw enough quality players at it, and we should still be fine He’ll definitely help with that 🇵🇹

Kind of performance that would probably be deemed fine if it were tucked within a run of decent performances As it stands, hard not to be concerned. We look so susceptible at the back, have a lack of control in the midfield, and pretty toothless up front Apart from that, fine though 👌

Also, the ridiculous clamour for McBurnie to be Scotland’s saviour surely has to die a death now One half-decent season in the English second-tier for his ninth club Absolute dug-shite. Four games against crap opposition, and never came close Twenty games for Scotland now, zero goals Total diddy

It’s been my belief that the reason Steve Clarke was a reasonably successful Scotland manager was that he - unlike the Tartan Army - knew exactly how limited the squad was, and set up accordingly A handful of lower Premier League quality players do not make a competitive team at this level now

Part of the problem with the leadership at the club is that they don’t GET the club Celtic IS a protest. It’s entire history is based around resistance, rebellion and standing against autocracy and the establishment To be so outraged at a ludicrously tiny show of dissent… Kinda embarrassing

Celtic fans have spent YEARS asking questions and seeking accountability at #Celticfc, and how it's run. ...To be simply dismissed, or worse, repeatedly ignored by the board. But tennis balls disrupting a game of golf?? THAT made Celtic wake from their slumber? Embarrassing. #SackTheBoard

Here - if individual teams, players and companies are considering legal action against Man City, why were none able to launch any action against Rangers in 2012? See if you can guess…

I like Sebastien Pocognoli, and it’s easy to disregard those performances down to bad luck, particularly the Hendry red-card But do we have to ask the question… what are we doing playing such a high line against a forward line with so much pace? Hendry was daft, but tactics were a bit questionable
