O hey Reminder that in (homophobic) '94 as Dookie was blowing up, Green Day picked queercore Pansy Division to open for them + a lot of venues pressured them to drop them as openers -- Green Day told the venues they wouldn't play if PD didn't - and the venues (mostly? all?) backed down. huh.

April Shows! Nashville, Louisville, Indianapolis bnds.us/tq61ek

At the time, Cheap Rags set the record for most instruments on one song. At least three guitars, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, vintage Moog synthesizer (!), and much more. Oh, and yes, it’s a fantasy about a kinky threesome. Deal with it. www.patreon.com/posts/live-p...

No Ordinary Man was written early in the process as Holmes was riffing on Bishop's, AKA “Le Mirage," adventures abroad. This is song helped frame the conceptual direction of the album by focusing on the active fantasy life of a man with an otherwise disappointing life www.patreon.com/posts/live-p...

www.patreon.com/posts/live-p... During pre-production for A Magnificent Man, we snuck out for a popup open rehearsal at The End in Nashville. We played the entire album and captured a taking a direct-to-CD board feed. We’ll share all 13 live tracks from this show in sequence on Patreon.

Let me tell you a tale of how completely the normies have been mobilized. My 14 year-old niece has done School of Rock for the past 5 years; last summer she was part of their touring band, and the kids loved playing together so much that they decided to keep doing it. (1/?)

A great night with The Floating Men at 3rd and Lindsley. 35 years of amazing talent.

The good news: the box sets are in. The better news: we’re still not famous. Tall Shadows returns, 33⅓ years later. Unapologetically unlabeled since 1993, and now unearthed, unmasked, and unveiled across three unbelievably vibey discs. Labor Day Weekend 2025 www.patreon.com/posts/unboxi...

Long Play Feature Track #6: Devastated Divorcee During the second set Sunday night 8/31 of the Labor Day weekend shows, we perform 15 songs from our third studio album released in 1998 - "The Song of the Wind in the Pines". We'll be joined by Fats Kaplin on violin/fiddle, mandolin, and banjo.
