Talk about an episode to highlight the new HD remaster. During the opening ceremony, we see some people in the spotlight and some in the dark, and we see it all so clearly. And coming soon at the party, the lights will dim and...wow, I can't wait for it

It's been a while since I've seen the #Toonami version of episode 14 with their "previously seen on" intro. I must say, I'm very impressed by the editing there. In 45 seconds, they recapped the entire first season with tons of clips from what appeared to be every episode. Nice!

What a great moment - that shot of Takeshi and Andrei shaking hands #IGPX

Risky for Takeshi to be following Cunningham so closely behind him. At those speeds, if he even barely came into contact with Cunningham's mech, it would likely have caused him to lose his momentum, if not crash. But as they say, no risk, no reward. And it pays off! #IGPX

In the special Cunningham Takeshi sequence, it's like they're floating above the track, as their feet are not on the track. I somehow never noticed that before. It's a nice touch to the sequence. #IGPX

What a great little scene. Liz finally gets over her hatred for cats and has a great moment with Luca. Now she just needs to get over her hatred for dogs. #IGPX

Of course, only one of the pilots needs to cross the finish line first, and it doesn't have to be the team's forward. Amy gets first place, securing a win for Team Satomi. Way to go! #IGPX

Another fun fact: Teams are allowed to call a Running Skeleton for a pit only once per race. What most people don't realize is that once one team pits, the other team is not allowed to. That's why we never see anyone pit after one team does, but we sometimes see both teams pit at the same time #IGPX

I love how Luca does human-like things when he's in the mech with Amy, like winking with one eye, but then is basically a normal cat otherwise, when outside the mech. #IGPX

Fun fact: The protestors in this scene chant their anger in the Japanese version of the show, while they are silent in the English versions (Toonami and I.G versions) of the show.

A #Toonami favorite - "Get a Move On" by Mr. Scruff. I'm glad they were able to use this song, even though it's just once in the series, only here in episode 7. #IGPX

I always loved that there was a charity auction during the #IGPX all-star festival.

I happen to be in the US right now, so I can watch #IGPX live on an actual TV through actual cable. It's a nice feeling. It's late, but let's see if I can stay awake for episode 7 - "Spring Has Come"
