Kansas here’s your chance to help out please go in and just send form letter to the senator. You don’t have to write anything and you don’t have to donate just punch through it but if you go in there and we send enough letters, it’ll send a message rock ‘n’ roll.😎

wbay.comWisconsin governor urges Congress to modify federal hemp lawThe law set to take effect in November would jeopardize 3,500 jobs and $700 million for Wisconsin's economy.

Hemp is a growing industry in our state and a way that many farmers and producers have diversified their businesses. If congress doesn't act, this could have disastrous consequences for our state, our farmers, and our economy. www.wbay.com/2026/03/03/w...

📅 Harvest timeline: Grain: Aug/Sept (dry to Midwest Hemp Tech specs) Stalks: Ret in field, bale Oct Processors like Midwest Hemp Tech (Augusta) buy grain/fiber. Yields: Aim 1,500+ lbs grain/acre + 2 tons stalks.

⚠️ Heads up: Federal rules tighten Nov 2026 on hemp-derived products (0.4 mg THC/container limit). Fiber/grain still strong, but stay informed & advocate! DM me your questions or share your KS hemp story below. Let’s grow this together.

🌾 PLANTING TIPS (from Kansas Hemp Consortium 2025 Guide): Plant late March / early April (before last frost) Soil temp: 45–55°F Depth: No more than ½ inch Rate: 18–25 lbs/acre (target 400k+ plants) Use your existing planter (30" rows) or drill (7.5" rows) pH 6–7, well-drained soil

🛠️ Weed control: No full herbicide options yet, but Sonalan is approved as pre-emergent. Plant early + cultivate = winners. Varieties: New West Genetics hybrids rock for grain + fiber in KS trials. Bonus: Hemp’s deep roots fix soil, sequester carbon, and remediate contaminants. Perfect rotation crop!
