Sadly(?) none of the documentation is available anymore, as with the rest of LOT2046’s items. This is also the last object of theirs I still have, the rest I lost, outgrew during transition, or threw out since everything had my deadname on it

if you wanna know about the lost medias i've found all you have to do is enroll where i did my undergrad in the history program, then in your second year take one of the mandatory historiography courses, then make sure it's the section where I do a guest talk about my work every semester, very easy

1200+ publications is a lot to sift through, so why not a thread of titles that might be of interest! NSFW titles will be marked as such: 🔞 Coin Journal was a monthly arcade industry magazine that provides prize lists, games previews, and amusement centre coverage! archive.org/details/@chu...

Though I’m still on break, to date I’ve scanned and made publicly available over 1200 rare and obscure publications spanning from the Japanese amusement industry to the American computer porn market, and everything in between. You should check ‘em out! archive.org/details/@chu...

Because porn is a critical part of queer history. It was some of the only queer-owned media and a radical and positive documentation of sexuality at a time when it was being violently suppressed elsewhere.

I spent an afternoon with Loyd Powell and Robert Conn, who run the Heart of Leather Foundation in Houston. Their dream is to open a museum of LGBTQ history. Until then, they have over 35,000 artifacts sitting in storage, and they let me see them: www.chron.com/culture/arti...

This interview can be found in this issue of gM that I scanned a while back 🙇 archive.org/details/gM-1... (issue is internally labelled as February but was published at the end of January)

Just in time for the Halloween season, this week we have a Resident Evil interview from 1999 with director Shinji Mikami! He talks about his early Disney games, Sweet Home, Romero's zombie movies, and the kind of horror he wanted to explore in Resident Evil. shmuplations.com/residentevil/

“Finally, if you still think desktop publishing is boring, one vendor introduced a software program called ‘MacPlaymate,’ which lets you integrate some rather interesting graphics into your otherwise dull documents, putting a little spice into your MacLife.” (Posted this one for @thestacks.ca!)

i love this. there's an enthusiastic article about some teens who rebuilt a "huge web site" called jumbo better than professional engineers and designers could. and when you go to see what that meant the site looks like this: web.archive.org/web/19961022...
