A recent survey found that 92% of U.S. adults have delayed or avoided medical care due to high costs. Meanwhile, a new study from Yale estimates that Medicare for All would save over 114,000 lives and $1 trillion a year. If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have universal healthcare.

Let's talk about real "public safety." The more societies spend on social control, the less they have left for social investment. But social controls are both deadly and unsustainable, requiring more oppressive means of terrorizing communities and draining resources that actually help people.

there is no such thing as "age verification." All "age verification" is actually "identity verification." You can coat it in glitter and "privacy-preserving" wrapping paper. But in the end, mandating age verification means mandating surveillance be built into software and hardware. Period.

Patriotism isn't about building walls, punishing immigrants, cutting taxes for the rich, attacking the press, or dividing us by race & faith. True patriots don't pander to divisiveness or hate. They work to confirm the "WE" in "We the People of the United States."

CEO pay is up 1,094% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 26%. Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?

I think the reason the Reflecting Pool is getting so much reaction is because it's a tangible metaphor for all the failures of this regime. It's a physical manifestation of toxicity, vanity, cost, error, and assigning blame.

Fewer than half of Americans can afford healthcare, the lowest rate since 2021. We’re saddled with the highest healthcare costs with the worst health outcomes among other rich countries. Is it any wonder that 63% of Americans now support Medicare for All? We do not have to keep living like this.
