I just "Aspireified" my little pet project app 🎉 @maddy.fm would (and should) be proud.

This dumb owl is coming across a bit desperate.

You've heard it here first, the first .NET MAUI Day in Poland will take place on May 29, 2026! 🇵🇱 More details will be up soon on mauiday.net and here on the socials as we get everything ready. See you there!

Starting off @mauiday.net with @davidortinau.com about .NET MAUI now and where it goes next 👉

Real apps demand real opinions. At MAUI Day, @mattgoldman.bsky.social explores why unopinionated MVVM often leads to fragile state, inconsistent UIs, and long-term pain — and how deliberate constraints help teams move faster with fewer mistakes. 🗓️ Feb 6th 2026 · Central London 🎟️ mauiday.net

Kicking off #MAUIDay in style is @davidortinau.com with .NET MAUI Now and Next. While .NET 10 is still just, the team is already working on .NET 11. In this session David will share the product highlights and candidly share our vision for the future of mobile and desktop cross-platform development

v2 is live 🎉👕 We've brought everything together into a more cohesive platform, combining product code checks with our brand-specific authentication guides, and detailed verification checklists in a single flow.

Is AI fatigue a thing?

Be there! 👉 🇬🇧

If anything, Black Friday is great for figuring out newsletters you haven’t unsubscribed from yet.

I feel like the idiot in the room, but surely you can have a ModalPage WITH a NavigationBar in .NET MAUI Shell? I, for the life of me, cannot get it done. Yes, PresentationMode can be set to ModalAnimated, but that will lack top navigation as it probably doesn't get wrapped in a NavigationPage.

RIP my youth

Rewatching the MAUI Community Standup, and now I kinda want to start using the popups/bottomsheets plugin from @uxdivers.bsky.social - When is it coming!? 😂 www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIl8...

Happy Halloween 🎃

New Sharpnado component: the holy DragDropGridView \o/ • Drag-and-drop reordering with Pan or LongPress triggers • Seamless ScrollView integration with automatic scrolling • Customizable animations for drag/drop states 👉 sharpnado.com/dragdropgrid...

There’s no Halloween tradition where I’m from, but it’s still a lot of fun to craft something and build our own little local tradition. Now to actually get it done in time… 🤪

Nailed it

I was a bit sad that I wouldn't be going to the MVP Summit, but with the way things are going in the US now, I'm starting to feel less sad about not going.

Kicking off #MAUIDay UK in style is @davidortinau.com with .NET MAUI Now and Next. In this session he'll share the product highlights and candidly discuss the #dotnetMAUI team's vision for the future of mobile & desktop cross-platform development. 🗓️ March 14th 2025 📍 Central London 🎟️ mauiday.net

Finished the Indiana Jones game, it's ok, but no shot I'm diving back in to finish all the side things. That's a younger man's mission to complete.

Starting off the year strong with the flu 💪

Just waiting on Elon to try and buy Greenland at this point.
