Seeing how Donald Trump has set a precedent……..

Currently watching “The American Experiment” on Netflix. Just got to the part where Ted Cruz says, and I quote, “The framers were worried that you’d have an executive who behaves like a king”.

People of @clactononsea.bsky.social , you know what to do.

⚠️ Send this to your friends that are thinking of voting for Reform. Rhai o'ch ffrindiau'n ystyried pleidleisio dros Reform UK? Anfonwch hwn atynt! 👇

I’ve met many Americans and the ones I have met have been mostly thoroughly decent and respectful people. Your president however, is a horrible person and a bully. Please do better. I’m no fan of the royalty, but the king shouldn’t be kowtowing to this disgusting manchild.

@rydercup-usa.bsky.social Delighted to see you’ve managed to find Patrick Cantalay a cap that fits this year. Amazing what half a million dollars can do.

Just watched @mrddyer.bsky.social on #TheAssembly. Brilliant. The meditation section was fantastic, to see the impact on his audience was mind blowing.

Normally around this time of year, I’m in Florida. Not this year, not because of Trump, but because we have a puppy to consider. So we stayed in Cornwall. I’ve been to Hawaii, the Caribbean, but have never seen a better beach than this

@mrrickygervais.bsky.social Great in Cardiff tonight.

Looking forward to watching @mrrickygervais.bsky.social in Cardiff

Seventh Mother’s Day, without my mum. I think about her every day, everything I do, everything I’m going to do, every success, every failure, every decision I need to make, I still want to discuss with her. 💔

@simonmayo.bsky.social Fancy some Cluedo? @mattmwilliams.bsky.social Surely the “ladies” involved in this story are also to blame? None of the people involved were innocent or blameless, the women shouldn’t have joined in the cluedo and for that reason I choose to forgive.

Well it’s been almost 250 years now, and I think it’s time we all agreed that the American independence experiment has failed. You guys just can’t be trusted with democracy so probably best go back to being a colony.

Calling Dr. Shovel @simonmayo.bsky.social what a great episode, Sister Susie a bit harsh with the verdict on the Polish proposal I fear

What a game! #cardiffcity #bluebirds

Just when you think we’ve won the game, we miss chances to finish them off, invite pressure, concede another late goal and end up hanging on for the draw. Cardiff city, it’s the hope that gets you. Every. Single. Time

Trump rambling on, a mixture of lies and incoherent nonsense- how could any sane person vote for this senile old man? #Trump

Loving my new cuff links, from @wildatheartgifts #wildatheartgifts #shoppingdelight

So he’s moved on from pizza express to a Chinese then.

Great short video about @brianmoore666.bsky.social youtu.be/hdccL8h4asQ?...

Watching a TV show called “Dictator’s Hideouts”. In it, an expert describes dictators as “typically Paranoid, conspiratorial, see plots against them at every turn. Lose touch with reality, insulated & surrounded by small number of people who are afraid of them”. Any of this sounding familiar MAGAs?

Aww, Terry Griffiths has passed away.

“That” episode of Downton on ITV3. Christmas Ruined

Have just watched “Tsunami Race against time” on National Geographic/Disney+ Some difficult scenes to watch, but humbled to see such true heroism and selfless humanity shine through from the devastation.

Fish Swimming sideways with the cool kids @simonmayo.bsky.social @mattmwilliams.bsky.social

Baby on a rollercoaster @simonmayo.bsky.social @mattmwilliams.bsky.social I’ve finally caught up with all the episodes, now looking forward to the next episode

It’s SCONE as in “Stone”. This is a hill I’m prepared to die on. #greatbritishbakeoff

Wide spread flooding is impacting upon Cardiff Parks. The Taff has burst in some places, Park Rangers are putting out emergency signage. Bute Park concessions & Christmas Fair are closed. There are notices advising people to avoid the Traff Trail and Bute Park.

Sunday morning, Storm Bert outside, cwtched up with a cup of tea, and Whisky Galore on the telly. And relax……….

@ccfc.bsky.social

#bluebirds shocking at the back/playing out of defence. Wednesday are decent, but we’re giving the ball away too easily.

Come on @ccfc.bsky.social Let’s start sharing some news/content on this platform.

Been here a week so far. No right wing ranting, no irritating adverts, no women trying to promote their only fans account, no doom and gloom, just good decent people sharing positive/fun/interesting thoughts. Much nicer place to be, and satisfying that I am one less person seeing toxic posts.

BlueSky is great, but needs more take up from people in the UK. Great to interact with our friends from over the pond, but would be good to have more local topics.

Finally cut the cord and deactivated my twitter account. Was hanging on for a few accounts to switch, especially @ccfc.bsky.social but got fed up of all the toxicity, dross and random adverts. Hopefully the rest of the accounts I used to follow will make their way over here, but hey ho.

Just spent twenty quid on advent calendars for my 33 year old son, his girlfriend and our dog. Not sure who’s the idiot here.

Really enjoying the app so far @bsky.app Any chance of a bookmark feature please?

Have been catching up with the @simonmayo.bsky.social excellent Five star confessions podcast and heard him refer to BlueSky, whatever that was. I searched, I found, and yes, it really is where all the cool kids hang out.

Things I’m interested in: Cardiff City FC Golf Pink Floyd Wales Welsh Independence Ireland Simon Mayo’s confessions Politics with a conscience

Loving the new platform, on my iPhone, doesn’t work as well on my iPad but hopefully that will work itself out @bsky.app ? Few more accounts that I follow to make the move, and I’ll be deactivating my account over on musk world
